The present study had the objective of evaluating the influence of the judge’s role in court management on the perception of judicial actors at the Superior Court of Justice of Tacna. This research helps narrow the existing knowledge gap regarding the empirical assessment of judicial management in local contexts, providing data that supports the development of evidence-based improvement policies. A quantitative methodology was used, with a basic, non-experimental, explanatory-level design, applying a structured questionnaire to judicial actors at the Superior Court of Justice of Tacna. Descriptive results showed that administrative efficiency and parties’ access reached a medium level, while the use of judicial technologies reached a high level. Inferential tests confirmed that the judge’s role significantly influences court management at the Superior Court of Justice of Tacna. Logistic regression analysis reported a Nagelkerke R² of 0.629, explaining 63% of the variability in management, thus confirming the general hypothesis. Practical implications include the need to strengthen management processes, enhance judicial leadership training, and increase the use of digital tools to build greater public trust in the justice system.
