Abstract

Objective: Analyze the dynamic postural behavior in students of the Center of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation of the Private University of Tacna, 2018.

Materials and Methods: 6th and 8th cycle students who perform treatment in the facilities of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center of the Private University of Tacna, being 12 students of 8thth who do practices in adults and 17 students of 6th cycle who perform treatment in pediatric patients, during a period of 4 days in the morning and afternoon shift in their practice schedules.

Results: The above analysis shows the degree of intervention needed by students at the time of performing their treatments in the case of 6th cycle in the cross-tabulated four qualifications are identified: 7 with 10.3%, 8 with 3.4%, 9 with 20.7%, the most outstanding being score 10 with a percentage of 24.1% interpreted in the REBA method as a prompt intervention need. In the case of the 8th cycle, 6 ratings are identified: 5 with 6.9%, 7 with 6.9%, 8 with 6.9%, 10 with 3.4% and 11 with 3.4%, with the highest percentage being grade 9 with a total of 13.8% interpreted in The REBA method.

Conclusion: The dynamic postural behavior of the 6th and 8th cycle students is inadequate due to the position by maintained body segments and the repetitive movements made when treating a patient, needing a prompt intervention to avoid future complications.
